Mamma Flor grew up in Mexico where her passion for cooking first started. When she started working for a family in Mexico City they taught her how to cook the traditional dishes. After having her first daughter at a young age she decided to move to America to create a better life for her and her daughter. In America she grew her family and worked hard until she came up with the idea to start her own restaurant. This dream was put on hold becuase Mamma Flor had to get brain surgery. After the successful surgery Mamma Flor felt more empowered than ever to get her restaurant started. Ciudad Azteca has been serving delicious Mexican food since 2011.
